There are a number of infections that can affect pregnancy and your ability to get pregnant. Many women and couples have infections and don't even know it. Not all infections in your reproductive system are sexually transmitted. Yeast infections are very common in pregnancy and can be treated with over-the-counter preparations (I had a yeast infection when I was pregnant and didn't even know it).
